Women’s Baseball at Footscray
Helmed by Australian Emeralds player Abbey McLellan, our women’s program currently runs across the summer season (October-March).
With teams in Women’s Premier Firsts, Premier Reserve, and State competitions we can accommodate players of all skill levels.
We’ll hold a few Come and Try sessions in September ahead of next season - dates TBA!
In the meantime, here’s what a few of our current players love best about playing at Footscray:
‘Incredibly supportive of women and girls looking to get into sport. If you're thinking about being a part of a team in the west, come here and have some laughs and fun!’ – Courtnee
‘I've played baseball at Footscray for 20 odd years now and still love to call the club home. Baseball is a fun game that can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. There are positions and levels that cater to all skill sets and the social culture at Footscray Baseball Club is the friendliest of any sporting club I've ever visited. Can't wait to play another 20 odd years in the red, white and blue! ❤️’ – Lisa
‘Super friendly, inclusive and supportive baseball club.’ – Ingrid
